- You have no doubt received poems and poetry (alleged) regarding the Phonograph until life has an opposite effect, you will have to lay the blame at the door of your own invention. ## I had thought of sending this to the Century Magazine; but upon surveying the "Heavenly Maid", I concluded that her poetic feet would look smaller in Llewellyn Park waste-basket.
