Editor's Notes
T.A.Edison, Esq. Dear Sir: Edison v Gilliland & Tomlinson. We beg to say that the answer of the defendants is due on the 31st. Inst., the time for serving it having been extended at the request of Messrs Coudert Bros. When the answer is filed, the taking of testimony can be commended at once. Possibly the case can be heard in March or April though more likely in May or June. Shall we push the taking of testimony vigorously, or not? Awaiting your instructions, we remain, Very truly yours, Eaton Lewis
