Editor's Notes
I have your favor of this date. What I want is a copy of whatever agreement was made between Mr. Edison and the holders of 1750 shares of stock in the Edison Phono. Co. under which Mr. Edison became authorized to sell a Mr. Lippincott the stock for $500,000. [-------] says he has no such agreement and that what is known is the [------] agreement is something entirely different from what I want. Please send in at earliest convenience the paper here asked for if there even was one. If there was was none, please tell me whether the stock had ever been transferred (the 1750 shares) to Dyer, Batchelor, or others from the Lippincott sale.
