Editor's Notes

We beg to hand you a form of notice to be signed by you as secretary and a copy of which is to be mailed by you tomorrow to each of the stockholders of record in the Edison Phonograph Co. You can fill in the notice on the 1st of July. Section 36 of the New Jersey Law requires that the transfer books of the Co. and the books containing the names of the stockholders shall be open to every stockholder from now until the annual election. It shall be the duty of the secretary to prepare and make out a complete list arranged in alphabetical order of all the stockholders entitled to vote at the ensuing election and the number of shares held by each, The notice of the meeting to be mailed tomorrow, as ten days notice is required. Please send us a duplicate copy of the stockholders so we may prepare an affidavit of the mailing of the notices.
