Title
[D8957AAG], Letter from Eaton and Lewis to Thomas Alva Edison, July 5th, 1889
Editor's Notes
We hand you duplicate copies of an agreement to be executed by yourself on the one side and the Garfield Safe Deposit Company on the other in pursuance of an arrangement communicated to us by Tate. Will you sign both copies of the contract and then either return to us to procure the signature of the Garfield Safe Deposit Company or communicate directly with them to get the signatures? If you return the contracts to us, send a certificate for 592 8/10 shares of the capital stock of the Edison Phonograph Works made out in the name of the Garfield Safe Deposit Co. We can then deliver the certificate and give a copy of the contract to them and send a copy to you.
