[New name mention: Angelo Mariani] Haines writes a letter to Edison about a distinquished resident of Paris named Monsieur Angelo Mariani who desires to obtain a Phonograph, and the phonograph would be in great hands and shown to other distinguished people becuas ehe like to entertain in his hotel or house. In addition he writes that Mr. Lippincott told him to use his name. [TAE Marg.: "Write to Wangemann that Monsr A Mariani desires him to come to his house say twice--then write Haines that If Mariani will call on Mr W at Paris Ex he will be instructed to show the phono on any 2 Evenings he desires--"]
