- "Permit me to hand you enclosed the account of the first article published in any german paper with the help of the Phonograph." Many people assisted in the occasion and were highly pleased; "The account published in the National Zeitung has been copied in almost every paper in the country."###"I understand, that Mr Wangemann intends to take the Phonograph to-morrow to Fieldmarshal Moltke." Wangemann has been showing the phonograph to emperors, kings, generals, bankers, professors and just about anybody amounting to anything." He even brought it on the stage. Phonograph is the event of the season.
