- Title
- [D8960AAB], Letter from Franck Zeveley Maguire to Alfred Ord Tate, January 14th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- Mr. Chas. Gould, of the North American Phonograph Co., was very desirous of going to China with me. He seems to be a very clever kind of a fellow, and if he understands the machine thoroughly- as I believe he does-I should imagine he would be a very good man for Frazier & Co. to obtain the services of. He is of good address and calculated to produce a good impression.### The Washington Capital of Sunday has a short article in relation to the graphophone in China and Japan.### I will be in Chicago at the Grand Pacific Hotel for the next ten or twelve days. Will be glad to hear from you.
