Title
[D8960AAB], Letter from Franck Zeveley Maguire to Alfred Ord Tate, January 14th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Mr. Chas. Gould, of the North American Phonograph Co., was very desirous of going to China with me. He seems to be a very clever kind of a fellow, and if he understands the machine thoroughly- as I believe he does-I should imagine he would be a very good man for Frazier & Co. to obtain the services of. He is of good address and calculated to produce a good impression.### The Washington Capital of Sunday has a short article in relation to the graphophone in China and Japan.### I will be in Chicago at the Grand Pacific Hotel for the next ten or twelve days. Will be glad to hear from you.
