Title
[D8961AAG], Letter from Thomas Bernardr Connery to Thomas Alva Edison, July 16th, 1889
Editor's Notes
[letterhead of Edwin Fox] "I have just received your despatch tel me you have cabled Gouraud asking for the required extension. I am afraid of Gouraud's delays, and above all am I afraid of losing this grand oportunity to establish the phonograph in my field of operations. Mr. Ceballos is so desirable a party, that no delay should be allowed in closing with him, and I can close now in five minutes when an [assurance?] from you reaches me that the extension of time will be granted. . . . .
