Title
[D8963AAJ], Letter from Whitfield Stinson, Iowa Phonograph Co to Thomas Alva Edison, March 27th, 1889
Editor's Notes
[written from NYC] "As manager of the Iowa Phonograph Co I very much desire one of your instruments that I may familiarize myself with its parts and workings. I saw more of the Phonograph yesterday in your laboratory than it has been my privilege to see heretofore." REALLY want one, even if not latest model. By this time there are two or maybe four graphophones in state of Iowa but NO PHONOGRAPHS.
