- "I find a great demand for a Cylinder Dictated by YOU, and it will be a great help to me if you will kindlysend one at once, I am greatly in love with the Phonograph, in fact, it is THE instrument to be pushed, and I sincerely hope to have many of them in use in this state. You have many good friends in Tennessee, and you would be amused to hear the variety of questions put to me by some of your old acquaintances, in regard to the Phonograph, and your self. 75o/([-]) the people, ask for your voice, and I hope you will at once put me in possession of an address to the Tenn people, such as you will allow me to use on all occasions."
