Editor's Notes
Pittsburgh, Pa Mch 26 1889####Mr A.O. Tate####Orange NJ####Dear Sir####I arrived here this morning. Met Mr. Smith at 135 this --. I find that the officce is not as get fitted up and he is not sure, that it will be ready for me to commence work tomorrow. As per my telegram of this date I find no battery material here, nothing but the instruments and two Edison condenser was not to be used any more, if this is your wish please have two Marshall Condensers sent to Mr. Smith at once. The condensers that are here look as if they had been in a war. All of the instruments are very dirty, big spots of ink on the wood work and none of the brass work polished. Mr Smith says the instruments are old and have been in use in some office, they look so bad that I could not muster up courage to make a good denial####Yours very Truly####W.S. Logue####Cam C M Scheaffer####Pittsburgh Pa####[name mentions: Mr. Smith, A.O. Tate, W.S. Logue, Cam C M Sheaffer]
