- Editor's Notes
- From the Laboratory of Thomas A. Edison####Orange N.J. May 7th####Subject,####Mr A.O. Tate,####Orange,####Dear Sir####Called at Bergmann & Cos this morning to test intruments that you desire shipped to Germany. The keys had not been changed from an ordinary Morse key and no magnetic ccoils with the lot. They claim that they had no models to go by and whatwas finished was done from memory. I take them one of each as models.####The Manager of the B & O reports that the New York and [Communipaw?] Circuit is not doing very well, he seems unable to explain the cause. Was under the impression that I had fully explained the system to all of them besides giving the manager a copy of them besides giving the manager a copy of them besides giving the manager a ccopy of the Scientific American to study. I will put in this afternoon & tomorrow on the circuit and make another effort to get some of them to understand it. The B & O office 415 Broadway will know my whereabouts if needed.####Yours Truly,####W.S. Logue####[Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Co., Bergmann & Co., A.O. Tate, W.S. Logue, Scientific American]
