Referring to my letter of the 5th. ultimo, No. 86 204, in reply to your letters of the 30th, of May and 3rd of June last; I have to inform you that the German Office has advised this Department, under date of the 26th ultimo, that the Phonoplex Telegraphic Apparatus which you presented to the Imperial German Postal Museum had safely reached Berlin.####I am, very respectfully,####Your obedient servant,####--- Brooks,####Acting Superintendent Foreign Mails
