Editor's Notes
Altoona Oct 5th 1889####Mr W.S. Logue####Dear Sir####I beg to report as follows ----- to working of New Battery.####We commenced working the 12 cells at 320 pm sept 6th with an average voltage of .908 volts per cell. I again measured Battery this am showing an average of .75 volts per cell. The depreciation of voltage of each cell has been about uniform being about from .13 to .15.####This is a very slight accumulation of sulphates of any kind either inside or out several of cells have a nice cooling of ["frast"?], an connection screws--####We are still using the Battery now 29 days and have had no word of complaint yet.####My opinion is that we will get at least 2 weeks more of satisfactory servicce. I will keep you posted from time to time####Yours Truly####WS Taylor####Div Opr####Pls send me a catalogue mine has been mislaid--####[name mentions: W.S. Logue, William F Taylor, Pennsylvania Railroad]
