- Mr Taylor has for 10 closed circuit telephones in Altoon that are kept so busy that the [Leclanche?] battery will not last more than a day,he is now being two cells of callaud which lasts about two weeks. He desires to know if we will try the soda battery on one of them. He also says that as soon as he learns the price of the battery that he may be able to use it in several other places, Mr Pettit is in Phila will see him on his return.####I go to Pittsburgh in the morning to start Allegheny City with another transmitter and expect to return here the following day and start in on the Mifflin & Altoona circuit.####Please address all communications care Mr Taylor####Yours truly####W.S.
