Editor's Notes

[Altoona Pa] Dear Sir####Check for $100 reeived today, thanks. I hope to finish with all the work in hand on Saturday.####Met Mr Pettit today and had quite a talk on battery with him, he said that he was not very well posted as to the amount of battery used at the different points, but thought that Phila had the only large [cell and?] batteries in use on main line, and asked me to call on the superintendent at that place and see if he could placce the soda battery. He also said that being that we could nto give him the price of battery he of course could not order it put up, but that any arrangement that we made with the Phila people about trying it would be all right. I will stop at Phila on my way last. Mr Taylor seems to think that if the battery will do what we claim for it, and the price is not too high, there will be no trouble about getting the Company to adopting it.####We will measure the battery on the Phonoplex again tomorrow and advise you as to the result.####Yours truly####W.S. Logue####[name mentions: William S Logue, A.O Tate, Mr. Pettit Mr. Taylor]
