Title
[D8966ADL], Letter from Pennsylvania Railroad, Charles Franklin Kissinger to William S Logue, November 8th, 1889
Editor's Notes
[Lewistown, Pa] We have 60 miles of a line, and of officces on it. We have 55 cells of cell and battery at Lewistown June, and we feed out of an 80 cell Battery at Danbury out of which two other heavy lines feed out of. These are the main batteries, and although our wire is in bad shape at east end, we have a good clear current in all kinds of weather. On our locals we use 1 and 2 cells depending on resistance and location of battery in office
