Title
[D8966ADS], Letter from William S Logue to Alfred Ord Tate, November 29th, 1889
Editor's Notes
Harrisburg, Pa, Nov 29 1889##Mr A.O. Tate Orange NJ##Dear Sir, Mr Taylor suggested that we wait until the evening to make the tests, while waiting we succeeded in getting a wire through to Jersey City long enough to try one coil. The test was quite satisfactory. With 8 cells of chrome and battery, single wound coil, coarse wire core, distance 200 miles Harrisburg to Jersey City, three blind & four phone offices Jersey City says, get you [HO?] very good##The Jersey Meadows did not stop us. Jersey City had old coil with 8 cells chrome acid battery that gave 16 volts on Tuesday last, it was with the greatest difficulty that we could get what he said. Test made too late to wire you. Will remain here until the cores that Mr Kennelly sent arrives Yours truly WS Logue
