[TAE Marginalia] OK send hundred telegraph cable that Andress have written to give him what he asks for in letters 
Edison 
Mr. Thos Edison 
Dear Sir 
As election a [illegible] our [illegible] manners[?] + we all find a price[?] for our own vicinity. Mr. Connely, =Mr. Litman + myself were in course taken [illegible] over the sub-loose[?] in our town & have [illegible] + we all feel that by hard work now is a chance to materially from the deal[?] may if not quite carry the lessons from the “review”[?]-From what you know of the class of men employed at your workshop in Edison, you must recognize that we have a great number of [illegible] + they can only be reached by the sinews of war[?] It cost considerably to get them out + other were harder them-we have made use in prove as much as we are able + feel the necessity of more +  we now appeal to you for help, knowing well from my position in politics that manufacturers are very much invested in the election of the Republican ticket-trusting we may hear from you by return mail enclosing check for a hundred to be used for above purposes remain
