Letterhead: The Iron Trade Review [TAE Marginalia: We are not ready just yet but when in full blast will give you some data] Cleveland, O., Oct 22. 1892 Thos A. Edison In conversation with my old friend Ira Miller, a few days ago, I learned that your work in the line of concentrating magnetic iron ores had been particularly successful of late, and that operations would be renewed at the Spur mines in Michigan as soon as the working of your machines is brought completely to your liking, If there is anything that the Iron Trade Review could say about the present status of your operation we should be very glad to say it, as our paper is the recognized exponent of the iron or interest of the Lake Superior Region. We noted a number of entries, in connection with your name, in issues of the Patent Office Gazette, a few weeks ago. There we presumed to be improvements on your concentrator. We would like to make some illustration of these, if they are ready. The writer recalls a number of pleasant interviews with you on your visits to Akron, in the last few years. Very truly yours, A.I. Findley
