Dear Sir:- I take the liberty of addressing a letter to you in behalf of a large number of Electrical Gentlemen of Pennsylvania and New-York, requesting the use of your name in the formation of an Electrical Society in the City of Philadelphia. I enclose a list of the Gentlemen, two thirds of whom have signed the list to become members. The balance will be secured by the middle of next week. It is the intention to secure only Gentlemen of high standing, in the Electrical business, making this a Society of the highest standing.
