My dear brother It is some little time since I received from Major Eaton the mortgage transfer to me. I thank you many times for your extreme kindness to me. I feel as though if my own Charley had lived he could not have done more than you have done and are doing. If the boys desire coming to the farm this summer let them come as I should enjoy having them and it doesn't seem so lonely for me. Yours affectionately, Nellie J. Edison
