Fredericksburg April 18th 1892 Dear Cousin I wrote you some time ago in regard to a little aid but did not receive any answer and thinking perhaps you did not get my letter. I would write again. It is very humiliating for me to impose upon so generous a person as you have been to me. But I am not responsible for my condition sickness and misfortune overtakes us on every hand. I would say Mr. Edison if you can lend me 2500 I will pay you 12 1/2 this fall 12 1/2 next fall. If you can favor me with this it will greatly oblige and help me. May good bless you and your dear family Very Resp John Edison
