Dear Sir:- I beg to advise you that Messr Woerishoffer and Co sold for your account yesterday 200 shares of General Electric Co Stock at 115 ¼ which is ¼ more than price quoted by you. They also bought for your account the following Bonds $20000 Northern Pacific R.R. Bonds at 116 price given by you have 117 5000.00 “ “ “ “ “ 116 ½ 10000.00 “ “ “ “ “ 166 ½ 15000.00 “ “ “ “ “ 116 ¼ 50000.00 Lehigh Valley of New York at 103 7/8 prrice given you less than 104 Please return the enclosed letter to me and oblige Yours truly J.F. Randolph [TAE Marginellia] Register Bonds in my name New York, Aug 9th 1892 Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Orange, N.J. Dear Sir:- Yours of 8th inst, received, with bond orders as stated. We succeeded in getting the 50,000 Lehigh Valle of New York First Mortgage Bonds at 105 7/8. The North, Pacific First Mortgage Bonds we bought at 118; 116 ¼ and 116 1/2 , as per statement enclosed. We have not been able to get the General Electric Debentures, although we may do so tomorrow, but all the bonds sold today have been at 104 ¾. As per statement enclosed, you will find that we sold 200 of the stock at 115 ¼. Please send us the names for registering the bonds purchased. Yours truly, Josiah C. Reiff
