June 27, 1892. Louis Cassier, Esq., The Cassier Magazine Company, Patter Building, New York. Dear Sir: Mr. Edison has asked me to thank you for the bound volume of your magazine which you kindly sent for his acceptance, and which is referred to in your letter of 21st instant. In regard to the biographical sketch of Mr. Edison which you purpose publishing, Mr. Edison has directed the writer to supply the material necessary in the preparation of same, and if your representative will call again at the Laboratory I shall be very pleased to give him all the data possible. I shall also arrange with our Photographer to furnish such pictures as may be desired. Trusting that this will be satisfactory I am, yours truly, Private Secretary
