Major S. B. Eaton,
Edison Building, Broad St.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
With reference to your letter of 12th instant to Mr. Edison, in regard to certain assignments by him to the Brush Electrical Engineering Company as to patents in Australia, New Zealand, India, Ceylon and South Africa, Mr. Edison wants to know if Drexel, Morgan & Co. have not an interest in these Australian railroad patents. His impression is that D. M. & Co. and Mr. Lowrey have a contract with him relative to these patents. If so, Mr. Edison thinks that they should pay Messrs. Waterhouse, Winterbotham & Harrison’s bill. Please let Mr. Edison hear from you in the matter at your convenience.
Yours truly,
Private Secretary.
