Greene, Esq., Treasurer Edison General Electric Company Edison Building, New York City Dear Sir:- Mr. Edison received from you this morning check of the Edison General Electric Company for Dividend No. 11. The check is for twenty dollars. Mr. Edison believes that he is entitled to a much larger dividend that the check referred to was to him in error. Please inform Mr. Edison whether or not a mistake has been made in the matter, and much oblige Yours truly, Private Secretary
