Arthur S. Reves, Esq., Treasurer
General Electric Co.,
No. 44 Broad St., New York
Dear Sir:-
I return herewith Order duly signed by Mr. Edison for the remission to him, by check, of all dividends due or which may become due on all shares of stock now standing or which may hereafter stand on the books of the General Electric Company in his name, the same having accompanied your printed notice of 15th ultimo received here this morning.
With reference to the Dividend Order, also enclosed, in favor of the General Electric Co., for all dividends due or which became due or which may become due upon the stock of the Edison General Electric Co., which you sent with your favor of 30th ultimo for signature of Mr. Edison, the latter wishes to know how you are going to distinguish between the stock of the Edison Gen’l Electric Co. which he owns and that which may be placed in his name for the purpose of qualifying him as a Director. The order returned herewith would apply to all the stock of the Edison Gen’l Electric Co. in Mr. Edison’s name, and he does care to sign such a paper. He thinks a special order should be drawn to cover the case.
Yours truly,
