August 4, 1892 No. 325 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Ga. Dear Sir:- Reply to your letter of 18th instant to Mr. Edison has been unavoidably delayed. In regard to the suggestion which you make relative to including your old original phonograph in the Edison exhibit at the World’s Fair, I beg to inform you that it is not Mr. Edison’s intention to make a personal exhibit of his inventions at Chicago next year. Should it be deemed desirable to place an exhibition there one of the old style phonographs, there are several here at the Laboratory which would be available for the purpose. Mr. Edison is much obliged for your letter and appreciate the suggestion therein. Yours truly, Private Secretary
