Aug. 27, 1892 G.H. Morison, Esq., Sec’y Edison United Phonograph Co., New York City Dear Sir:- Your letter of 26th instant to Mr. Edison is rec’d. As explained to you yesterday by telephone, the new Power of Attorney in regard to New Zealand, application for patent Case 96, was signed by Mr. Edison on the 24th instant, and forwarded on the name date to Major S.B. Eaton, with instructions to deliver it to your Company upon receiving from the latter a written promise to deliver to Mr. Edison an exclusive license for dolls etc. upon the granting of the patent. In compliance with your telephone request of yesterday, I wrote to Major Eaton by last night’s mail, asking him to give the matter of the delivery of the document his earliest attention.
