Oct. 4, 1892.
George Parsons Lathrop, Esq.,
No. 43 Federal Street,
New London, Conn.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 1st instant is received. Mr. Edison is not sure whether he will be here next week or at Ogden. When you come to New York next week you could ascertain by telephone at which the two places Mr. Edison then is. Our telephone call is “311 Orange.” In the event of your having to visit the mine Mr. Edison says that he could probably find a place for you there where you could stay all night.
Yours truly,
Private Secretary.
