Dear Sir:- With reference to the steel engraving of Mr. Edison, I enclose herewith copy of a letter on the subject received a few days ago from Chicago. Just as soon as the engraving is received here I will have it forwarded to you. In regard to the age of Samuel Edison, the only person from whom I could obtain exact information on this point is Mr. T. A. Edison, who is at present absent. When he returns to the Laboratory I will bring the matter before him and then communicate with you. Yours truly, Private Secretary.
