My dear Upton,- Has there been any accounting made recently on behalf of Mr. Edison for savings effected by the Lamp Works. I believe one bill has been paid, but that was some time ago. Also, what about the bills which Mr. Edison has rendered for his services at Marion? Have these been passed to his credit? Yours very truly, Private Secretary.
