Oct. 24, 1892. T. R. Lombard, Esq., c/o The Chicago Central Phonograph Co., Chicago, Ills. My dear Lombard,- I enclose herewith a letter from the Treasurer of the Bates Manufacturing Company in regard to the World’s Fair rules. I do not suppose that there is any real reason why Mr. Bates should entertain the fear that he may not be permitted to exhibit in conjunction with the Edison Manufacturing Co. and the N. A. P. Co.
