Oct. 31, 1892. Joseph S. Auerbach, Esq., No. 3 Broad Street, New York. Dear Mr. Auerbach,- I have received your letter of 28th instant. I had an interview a few days ago with Commodore Cheever concerning the future of the phonograph, and was glad to find that his views were so well in accord with my own. We discussed the possibilities of the N. Y. Phonograph Co. joining in the new arrangement, and if this can be brought about the North Am. Phonograph Co. will be very glad indeed to avail itself of the Commodore Cheever’s ability. Yours truly,
