Nov. 17, 1892. Edmund W. Fallentine, Esq., Room 29 No. 94 La Salle Street, Chicago, Illinois. Dear Sir:- Please pardon the delay which has occurred in replying to your letter to Mr. Edison of 17th ultimo. It became mislaid in some way and was unearthed to-day; hence the delay. In compliance with your request I take pleasure in sending to you herewith some data in regard to Mr. Edison’s life which you may find useful in connection with the paper you have been asked to prepare. I also send to you this mail, under separate cover, copy of a little book which was published in connection with the Edison exhibit at the Minneapolis Exposition of 1890, and which contains a brief account of xxxx each of Mr. Edison’s inventions, together with a short description of his Laboratory. You may be able to compile some information from this incorporation in your paper. Please return the biographical data when you are through with it, and trusting that it has not been sent too late for your purpose I am, yours truly, Private Sec’y
