Nov. 18, 1892.
Mr. J. W. Gladstone,
Edison Manufacturing Company,
New York.
Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of 17th instant, giving me certain details in regard to our Pay Roll at Silver Lake factory for last week. These details are now what I want. Please give me the name of each employe and his duties. I do not think that I can continue Mr. Condit’s services at the Phonograph Works. It was my intention when our stock transferred from Silver Lake, that Hooper has nothing to do but receive goods and give them out, he should be amply able to take care of all of this class of work. I will look into the matter.
Yours truly,
