Nov. 30, 1892. Mr. John Brant, Operator, No. 195 [illegible], New York City. Dear Sir:- In reply to your letter of inquiry concerning “Ore Milling” stock, and “European Light” stock, Mr. Edison has directed me to inform you that owing to bad business management by the Managers of the European Light Company, none of the stock-holders ever realized anything on their stock; that the Ore Milling Company, however, is picking up and will earn a great deal of money shortly; that this stock is now selling around $20 a share, and you could probably sell at $13. Mr. Edison thinks, however, that you had better hold the ore milling stuck stock for a year, when he believes you will get from 50 to 60 dollars a share for it, and more if you hold it longer. Yours truly, Private Secretary
