Dec. 9, 1892. F. P. Fish, Esq., General Electric Company, 44 Broad St., New York City. My dear Mr. Fish,- You are doubtless aware that Mr. James A. Russell has for some time past been suffering from a very severe attack of rheumatism, and his physical condition is such that it is almost impossible for him to move about. I am arranging to have him sent to Hot Springs for treatment, and I will be indebted if you will kindly arrange and let him have a leave of absence for a month or six weeks. Yours very truly,
