Dear Sir
I wrote You three weeks ago calling your attention to the compleation of the Higham Arc Dynamo – We hear it has been examined and fully approved by Prof. Hooper & Dolbear – also several other experts & is just what Higham claimed so they say, it saves 20% over any other Arc Dynamo & it costs less than one half to construct. Westinhouse Works left for New York [today with?] the reports Shall I send them to you to look at
Respt Yrs
Charles H Lewis
PS If you want them please telegraph at my expense on receipt of this

<Edison marginalia: I have great doubts about saving of 20% – Our Dynamos give 95% efficiency I have no interest in Dynamos any longer I am not connected actively any longer in Electric Lighting>
Yours
