Letterhead of American Nickel Works

Camden, N.J., Oct 6th 1892

Mr Thos A. Edison

Dear Sir

Answering your favor of 5th inst, I make no sheet nor wire nickel, but had hoped to sell you my commercially pure grain nickel, which I understood you consumed for making [mufflers].

The outlet for the nickel made by Canadian Copper Co would be to the steel men

Yours truly
Joseph Wharton
