D9241AAC January 29, 1892, Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Dear Sir:- In behalf of Edison United Phonograph Company we enclose a power of attorney for Cape Colony and 8 assignments of invention for British India, New South Wales, Victoris, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and New Zealand respectively, per [----] 90, in which case you will remember the Company recently agreed to give you a license for dolls [& c.?] in form [leave for editor] on securing the patent. Will you kindly fill in the dates and sign papers at once where indicated in pencil, before a Notary who will add his signature and official title and seal. Please attend to this immediately and return to us by return mail, as any delay will prove injurious. We enclose two Assignments dated December 14, 1891. 1. G.G.M Hardingham to yourself, 2. George Edward Gouraud to yourself of British patents in connection with dolls [& C.?] received from London to deliver to you. Please acknowledge receipt.
