I, THOMAS ALVA EDISON, electrician and inventor, of Llewellyn Park New Jersey, United States of America, inventor of the following invention, towit:- do hereby, for valuable consideration assign, transfer and set over to EDISON UNITED PHONOGRAPH COMPANY, a corporation, of New Jersey, United States of America, its Successors, Appointees and Assigns, all my right, title and interest to and in the said invention so far as the Colony of NEW ZEALAND is concerned, with full power to said assignee to apply for and obtain Letters Patent therefor in its own name in mid Colony.
