February 8, 1892, Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Dear Sir:- On 29th ult. We wrote you in behalf of Edison Phonograph Company enclosing power of attorney for Cape Colony and 8 assignments of invention for British India, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and new Zealand respectively for case 96, asking you to sign samee at once where indicated in pencil filling in the dates and in the power name occupation and address as indicated in pencil. We are still without the papers nor have we any acknowledgment of receipt by you thereof nor of the two assignments to yourself from G.G.M. Hardingham and Col. Gouraud respectively which we enclosed you at the same time. Will you kindly let us hear from you by return mail? We enclose also two assignments of Belgian patents: two being made necessary by the fact that the patents in cases 84 & 85 are in your name and Col. Gouraud’s jointly. Will you kindly sign you name on both where indicated in pencil without filling in any blanks and return to us by return mail?
