Letterhead of Edison United Phonograph Company
May 3, 1892, Mr. S. J. Moriarty, London
My dear Mr. Moriarty,
Mr. T.C. Crawford whose address is Box 102, Stapleton, Staten Island says he has written you several times and has received no reply. He seems annoyed about it and also states that Mr. Drapens & Mr. Gouraud would like to realize on their stock as they want to use their money, “they have been patient and have not expressed dissatisfaction and do not do so now.” But would like to have the money. I suggested that he see Mr. Henry Seligman but he stated that he did not wish to bother him. I explained that the phonograph was the [illegible] machine the things we can expect a great deal from it in the near future. The interview was short + I said little or nothing
Yours very truly,
[Signed] G.N. Morison (Secretary)
