August 5, 1892 Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Orange, N.J. Dear Sir:- Replying to your favor of the 1st inst., in regard to the amended power of attorney for Portugal, sent to you by the Edison United Phonograph Company, I beg to say that the document in its present shape is a correct one for you to sign, as your rights are thereby properly preserved.
