Letterhead of Seligman & Seligman New York, Dec. 7th, 1892. Thomas A Edison, Esq. Dear Sir:- I enclose a copy of the contract to be signed by you individually and the Edison Phonograph Works, relinquishing the rights of the Works to manufacture phonographs as far as the same relates to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. I believe you will find it in strict accordance with the understanding reached by us the other evening and beg that you will execute the contract without delay. Will you kindly also call a Board meeting of the Works at once and have the execution of these contracts authorized by the Directors, and have it signed by the President and the corporate seal attested by the Secretary affixed? Please return us soon as executed that I may have them executed by the other Companies. Yours very truly, Theodore Seligman.
