Letterhead of the Edison United Phonograph Company New York: Decr 23rd 1892 My Dear Mr Moriarty Your cable dated Decr 21st 1892 was duly received and as requested I [handed?] an envelope with Twenty five dollars in new bills to each of your Sisters and one with Fifty dollars to your Brothers with which they all expressed themselves as much pleased. I took the quarter past five o’clock train and reached there in time to take [deliver?], and spent a pleasant evening. We had a four hours session at the meeting on Monday and I read the contract to the Board. I am very glad you have been successful and although the figures are not as large as hoped for sometime ago still there are some very good points as I view it and it is a start. I have been so very busy lately that I have not looked it over since the meeting, carefully. I shall hope to see you on this side of the water before a very great while unless you go to Germany. Wishing you the compliments of the season Your Sincere Friend G. N. Morison
