Letterhead Eaton & Lewis New York May 26, 1892. Thomas A. Edison, Esq., Dear Sir: Enclosed please find a form of Promissory Note to be made by the North Phonograph Company for $78,518.37, with endorsement of security on the back thereof, together with the form for proposed collateral security of all shares of stock of the Edison Phonograph Company. This agreement as it now stands has been mutually approved by Mr. Bush and myself. Will you kindly look through it carefully and see if you have any changes to suggest, and return it to me, or send for me. Kindly give it your earliest attention, in order that it may be acted on at the next meeting of the Board of the N.A.P.Co., which occurs the 31st inst., Monday being a holiday.
